Philadelphia 6th March 1799
Sir,
I trouble you to serve a poor Man — Enclosed you have an order on Mr. Samuel Price of Richmond Virginia for 113.17 dollars, which amount he is ready to pay to Mr Fraley — Be pleased to present the drafts and when paid remit the Amount to me — I have no interest in the business, I only undertake for a deserving poor Man — Mr Paine may have had trouble in collecting the Money; for this Mr Fraby wishes him to retain what he thinks a reasonable compensation.
