By a note received from Mr Smith it appears that the Key of his store in which was deposited the Stores belonging to the Captius has not been returned, this is wrong as it will expose the United States to expence for no use— Please to attend to the business, and know that the Key is returned.— Mr Smith is not entitled to the rent already received if Reports are true— the Store fronting the [underline: east] was hired for the deposite— he removed the Stores from thence for his own accommodation, and it is said to one in which many of the articles were injured, and some ruined.—
