The distance estimated at two thousand two hundred Miles to wit — For the first 200 Miles - - - - - 18 For the next 150 Miles - - - - - 10 For the next 250 Miles - - - - - 20 For the remaining 1600 Miles - - - - 160 2200 a $200.— I certify on honor that pursuant to the endorsed order of the Honourable the Secretary of War I left Philadelphia on the fifteenth of March and arrived at Natchez on the first of July 1799. and that I was unavoidably, and by order of Gen^l Wilkinson detained in New Orleans, from the eighth of May to the twenty fifth of June one thousand seven hundred and Ninety Nine. and at an expence of near two hundred Dollars.
