Sir, You will find this accompanied by a general return of Invoice Quarter Master Hospitals Stores & Clothing for the last Quarter of the year 1798 at this Post — And also of Stores on hand at Frankfort to LeBrief and Inaugural the first of January 1799 — This return has been delayed to this time owing to a want of a Report from one of the posts — And you will please to observe Sir, that it is made up to the first of January 1799. Since which time a considerable alteration has taken place by a large quantity of Stores being shipped to Stewart at Natchez an Invoice of which I transmitted by last Mail to the War Office — I some time ago suggested a Wish for an opportunity of going to Philadelphia — And as the Business at this Post is so arranged as not to suffer in my absence of perhater three Weeks — I propose falling out on the 11th and expect to reach Philadelphia on the 20th — Concerns for Capt Turners company existationary in his recruits is much wanted Several of them being without Uniform — I am Sir your obedt Servt
