[Endorsement, verso: Jas Robicheaux / Feb 2. 1799 / [undecipherable] on / Ab^m Livingston / [undecipherable] / No 2] State of New York Albany County } Be it Remembered that on the Second day of February in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & ninety nine Personally came and Appeared before me John Taylor Esquire first Judge of the Court of Common Pleas for the County of Albany, James Robisheaux of the City and County of Albany who Deposeth & saith that he was well Acquainted with Abraham Livingston late a Captain in the Regiment Commanded by Colonel James Livingston in the Service of the United States, and that he Served in the Said Regiment with the Said Abraham Livingston as a Captain Until the Army was Deranged and this Deponent further says that he verily Believes that the Said Abraham Livingston was a Resident of the Province of Canada previous to the American Revolution & that Livingston did not Return to reside in the Said Province prior to the 25^th of November 1783.— Jas Robicheaux Sworn to the Second day of February in the Year 1799 Before me John Taylor, First Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in & for the County of Albany
