Six pieces of Kerseys is wanted for haleing Blankets, and other articles at the Public Store. Will you be pleased to give an order for their purchase immediately — the business is at a stand for want of them.
A person from New York has about four hundred excellent Musket locks, Charleville pattern which he offers for sale at 18/— I have had them examined by Mr Nicholson, who thinks them good and a valuable acquisition. With your permission I will offer him 12/15 a price for them. The same kind by contract cost the public 21/—. I await your direction on the subject this morning.
