I Certify that there is due to the detachment of recruits at Frederick Town under the command of Lieut Peter Shoemaker the sum of two thousand two hundred & Seventy seven dollars & Sixty one Cents being for the pay of himself the non commissioned Officers & Privates of said detachment up to the 31st Decr 1798 which sum is to be paid to Ensign Jacob Wilson to be by him paid to the said Lieut. Shoemaker who is to be held accountable for the due application thereof.
