In addition to my communication of yesterday I now enclose you an Abstract of articles purchased by Ebenezer Stevens Esqr Agent for the Department of War at New York in December 1798, for the amount of which he will receive a credit on the Books of this Office, and for which he is to be charged &held accountable on the Books of the Superintendant of Military Stores. You will please, as usual, acknowledge the receipt hereof with the abstract enclosed, that the same may accompany the accounts which are to pass to the Treasury for a final examination.
