The first moment our situation has enabled us to send of Clothing, your requests are attended to— By the way of Amboy I have Sent to York to the address of Utancion Smith the Clothing inserted in the enclosed Invoice for your Men—

By this conveyance I send to your address two hogsheads containing clothing as pr Invoice for your men — and also a [strikethrough: bale] with six Watch Coats for Captain Stoddart, with a request that you will be so obliging as to procure a safe conveyance and send it to him as early as possible. I have no other mode of getting it on, and I presume both of your commands stand in need of the Supply— The freight is paid here— Be pleased to acknowledge the receipt of the Packages and mention the time you receive them another Bale is added which you will please to deliver to Lieut Leonard.
