Dear Sir
I have received your letter of the 4th instant— I am very much obliged by the particular Statement relative to Governor Sargents Goods— To the Forty Dollars a ton for the freight of Goods to the Natchez by Sea, is to be added the insurance, as I am informed the Privatees are numerous, and the risk of course great; yet we shall make the experiment I will endeavour to Settle with Forrest speedily— he has lost nothing by the Sale of his Certificates they can be replaced at a much lower rate— Campbells draft shall meet due honor— I shall be glad to see you here but I do not expect it soon— for the reason you mention—
