Find by your letter to me of the 29 Ulto, and one to Mr Courtenay of the same date, that you have a bad memory & paid little attention to your private concerns, for otherwise You could not have forgot, that the [underline: two] last dividends of the Maryland Insurance Company.—
It appears by your letters that you have entirely forgot the former dividend; notwithstanding Mr Courtenay, [undecipherable], & myself wrote you on the subject—
I presume you have also forgot the 1000 Dollars repelled to me on acct of my advances for endorsement of R° Taylors Notes. In order to close these matters, you will remit herewith A Browns Bill on Beckham & Reese at 3 d/s for 1625 Dollars, which makes all your amot within my reach Viz:
