Oliver — wrote a loss.] [James McHenry Esquire Secretary of War Philadelphia] Dear Sir Baltimore 4 Jany 1799 I find by your letter to me of the 29 Ult^o, and one to M^r Courtenay of the same date, that you have a bad memory & pay little attention to your private concerns, for otherwise you could not have forgot, the two last dividends of the Maryland Insurance Company. It appears by your letters that you have entirely forgot the former dividend; notwithstanding M^r Courtenay, S^t Lundes, & myself wrote you on the subject I presume you have also forgot the 1000 Dollars refunded to me on acc^t of my advances for indorsement
