I received your letter of the 8th enclosing receipts for bounties paid by you which are filed for a future examination on the settlement of your recruiting accounts.
I received no letter from you of March as mentioned in your last letter; the only one I received you since your went to Port Tobacco was dated the 25th of that month & acknowledged the 31st following
I have once more made your return of Clothing to be known at the War Office.

The Treasurer of the United States will pay you the sum of one thousand, & seventy one Dollars & sixty five which you will be pleased to pay to Lieut Nehemiah Freeman at West Point taking the necessary receipts holding him accountable for the due application of the same; being for pay, subsistence forage of the commissioned Officers, Pay of the non commissioned Officers & Privates and balance of bounties due to the Corps of Artillerists at West Point up to the 31 March 1795. inclusive.
