[287] Accountants Office December 17 1798 I Certify that from a letter of the Comptroller dated the 13^th Inst^t covering a receipt of John Habersham Collector of the Customs for Savannah in Georgia dated 1 October 1798. Said Habersham has applied to the Incidental & Contingent expences of the War Department the sum of One hundred & twenty three Dollars & ²⁵/₁₀₀ which he has discounted out of the monies arising on Import & Tonnage & for which he is account=able in pursuance of a Warrant to be issued in his favor by the Sec^y of [undecipherable] to which said receipt is to be annexed agreeably to the communication of the Comptroller — D^rs 123 ²⁵/₁₀₀ The Sec^y of War— N^o 3545.
