I have a request from the Secretary of the Treasury for sending to your address two more pattern Muskets; but such is the present state of transportation that it is impossible to get them on either by Land or Water. Sargent, if so, please to inform me when they went, the articles sent, and your opinion when they might probably get to hand— A M^r Brooks left this city yesterday on his way to the Natchez via Pittsburg, he has kindly taken Lease into some little packages for Sargent; if you can render him any assistance in getting forward, it will oblige me— The great Council has broke up, but nothing has yet transpir'd—
