October 1798, for one hundred and twenty three dollars and twenty five cents, to be applied by him to defray the incidental and contingent expenses of the Department of War, in the State of Georgia; which receipt is to be annexed to a Warrant to be issued by the Secretary of War, on the Treasurer, in favor of said Habersham, who is to be charged and held accountable for the same in the books of your Office. —
