Yours of the 13^th November just arrived, Mentioning the receipt of Sundry Receipts for moneys pay^d by me to my Recruits — at Same time transmit to Coll McHenry my Regular Return, the money Sent on to me Some time past for Recruiting is at last given out, & I have advanced out of my pocket ever Since, & Without more I cannot get a Nother man. upon my Arrival in this place I Called on Captⁿ G. J. McRee to Muster & Inspect my men, as I had under Stood that he was appointed to do So. I Shall also transmit to Coll McHenry my muster & Pay Rolls up to the month of November. I Could wish if possible to get a drum for my party. also Such apparatus necessary for my Serjeants & Corporals. &c I am Sir Yours &c J.
