Philad^a Dec^r 5^th 1790. Sir, The White Brass'd Balls were consigned to Mr Hunt to be forwarded by him to Capt Wadsworth New London. I think with you that the nigher the Lead can be got to the Store where the Musket Stocks, the better. I have no Order from the Secretary of War for the delivery of Musket Stocks— Mr Nicholson Assured me he did not choose to give an Order, for the purpose of having them stand to Contractors with the Treasury.
