The advances to the Shipwrights employed with you being continued under their former orders I enclose the duplicates of payments made that you may make the Stoppages on adjustment of the respective Accounts to which they belong — These payments are immediately charged to your Account as money forwarded of course the receipts are taken in your name — this mode has ben pursued in every similar instance — Our City is once more free of infection and looks alive — Generals Washington, Pinckney and Hamilton are arraigning the New Army — the President returns to the City to day —
The enclosed will give you a detail of the news — Present my best respects to Charley Brown and tell him we are all well — I am sure he will be glad to hear it — adieu —
