Gentlemen,
I accept your condition for the transportation of the Men and their provisions to Charleston — Vizt: Ten Dollars for the passage of each Man and his rations — a full supply of Water to be put on board at your cost — the number of Men about fifty, and expected to be ready to embark at New Castle on the 28th instant — but no additional expence will be expected should they not be ready for five or six days after that period — The probability is that they will be ready on the 28th — They are to be provided with comfortable accomodations under deck, and to be amply supplied with Water —

Sir,
I wish to be informed whether I am to hold the Cellar under the Store in South Alley for the Public. I have heard nothing from your Tenant on the Subject — If he means to should keep it, I should be informed on what terms I am disposed to keep it on a reasonable Rent, or relinquish it if desired so to do —
