I have recev given Nicholas Fish Esqt Supervisor at New York the sum of Twelve Dollars 4s/6 four cents being for the Pay of Thomas Ath[undecipherable]ale a Private in the Detachment of the Troops under your command from the 1st April to 8th July 1793 the date of his decease — for which sum you will please to grant your duplicate receipts to be prst by the repayment in due application of the same to the widow of the decd Soldier. The voucher for bounty enclosed in your letter of the 9th Inst together with those before received are under examination the result of which will be communicated to you.
