Philadelphia 5th novr 1793.
Sir,
I have recived your several letters of the 6th 12 & 29th Ultimo advising of I costs all of which shall be attended to as usual when they arrive. As I conclude you mean to us a visit before you again return to the Army I shall say nothing respecting the Stores with the Army — I want a great deal of information on that Subject. The contagious disease which has again made awful havoc in our City is nearly done its ravages, few Cases remain, and our Citizens are generally returning to their respective homes —

Sir.
On the receipt of your letter of yesterday, I wrote to Mr Billington to inform me what could be done relative to the Clothing for West Point, enclosed is his answer. By it you may see we may not expect a supply of Woolen Overalls and Vests to meet any order however small for two weeks to come. Six hundred weight of English Trawlrys, Steal and twelve pounds corned Emory is wanted immediately to go forward with the Tools and other materials procuring for the post on Harpers Ferry. Be pleased to order them purchased and put into the Store — As essential that they be had to go in the Waggon that waits to take on the most pressing Articles.
