Fleming / [undecipherable] 31 [undecipherable] [undecipherable] / [undecipherable] [undecipherable] fav.] West Point Oct. 26. 1793 Sir, I have received your letters of the [undecipherable] [undecipherable] — [undecipherable] I enclose you master pay rolls of the ordnance detachment for the [undecipherable] [undecipherable] the [undecipherable] [undecipherable] for his not to [undecipherable] [undecipherable] eight dollars — and [undecipherable] as [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] amount dated the 1^st instant for work done for the Dept of Engineers, and 259.3.0 New York currency — Also an account of mine for the recruiting the ordnance detachment, accompanied by [undecipherable: Bungs]s, Smiths, [undecipherable]ris, Pattersons, [undecipherable]sons and [undecipherable]'s inlistments of receipts for their county money, balance in favor of the War Department twelve dollars of 62½ cents, of Jonathan Tucker's inlistment likewise my account current for the ordnance detachment's pay, dated the 22 instant, balance in my favor nineteen dollars — and all the vouchers I could possibly get ready to send by this post, namely, Vouchers for contingent expenses with an account of them dated the 26 ulto, amount two hundred and fifty dollars of 20½ cents — Vouchers for forage & for the [undecipherable] horses belonging to the United States employed about here for said States, with an account of them dated the 29 instant, amount one hundred [and] ninety one dollars and d 43½ cents — and [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] is [undecipherable] to this day for [undecipherable] so as to all [undecipherable] [undecipherable] the total sale of the [undecipherable] ordnance magazine Old Fort Clinton, amount [undecipherable] two hundred and seventy six dollars of 99 cents — I shall send some more contingent vouchers, and an account of monies I received casually for the United States in small sums, as soon as possible. The latter amount I will attach to [undecipherable] some of the former accounts, as I suppose it is necessary according to the rules of your Office. — I have paid about one hundred dollars more than I have sent vouchers to you for, to laborers on account, employed at the wall of the powder magazine.
