Description

Freeman encloses his muster and pay rolls; his duplicate receipts have gone to the Supervisor of New York. The general court marital has sentenced deserters to pay back the United States any damages from their desertion, which payment is to be deducted from their pay. One deserter enlisted twice, under two names, and deserted both times.
