Sir,
Mr Williams, the Contractor at this place, informs me, that, tho' he has agreed to furnish the rations under the old establishment at 18. cents, he expects 22½ under the present establishment. I find the account which I forwarded by the last mail I have charged the rations due me at the latter price. you can determine whether it will be allowed me.
The enclosed certificate will shew that I have taken none up. I have the honor to be Sir
