Sir, Since the receipt of your last letter, dated July 9. 1798, two Bills, drawn by you, in favor of Samuel Wilson, for two hundred dollars each, have been presented; one dated July 11, and the other July 13; without any letter of advice concerning them. You will please inform me for what purpose those Bills were drawn, and the particular disbursement thereof.
