R.P.O.401310] Pittsburg 29 Sept 1798 Sir Jacob Death on information of the Death of his Wife immediately determined to return to Philadeli^a in consequence of which I have Paid him in full for his Services here together with Nine days Pay and twenty, three Dollars the Allowence for returning home agreeble to Contract. he proposes returning to this place as soon as he has Settled his Families affairs I have found him A very industrious Sober man and a good Usefull Mechanick. therefore ought to Incourage him to return as soon as possible.
