Knoxville 25 Septem^r 1798 Sir I have drawn this day on you in favor Anthony Foster, payable to him or order after ten days sight for six thousand one hundred fifty four dollars and seventy two Cents for which value has been recieved in Specie of M^r Foster D^rs D^rs 4326.48 of M^r John Childers 1828.24 and it was by desire of M^r Childress that his sum was included in M^r Fosters draft, and I have been thus particular to prevent any misunderstanding in the transaction of this negotiation.
