24 January 2014 (EST) Sir Wilmington NC Sep.t 24th 1798 With this you will receive Muster Rolls and Pay Rolls for the party artillerists and engineers at Fort Johnstone NC for the months of August July 1798.

    The Receipt Rolls for the months of April May & June wants the name of James Williams to be completed,

this cannot at present be obtained, Williams being on duty at Fayetteville about ninety miles distant

Enclosed are the Muster Rolls and Payrolls for the party of Artillerists and Engineers at Fort Johnstone, North Carolina for July and August 1798. The receipt rolls for April, May,and June lack the name of James Williams since he is on duty at Fayetteville, ninety miles distant.
