Yesterday a vessel sailed from hence for New York on board of which is 3000 Musket Stocks for the use of the Workmen at your Post. I have directed them to be reshipped in York to your address by the way of Hartford within 10 days you may expect to receive them & you will accordingly make the necessary arrangements to receive them at Hartford as has been usual.
The Books and Stationery for your Post will be forwarded as soon as they can be procured, every thing here lies dormant at present on account of the Sickness but I hope it will subside ere long & permit our inhabitants to return.
