By post this morning, I am favoured with yours of the 30th ultimo. I thank you sincerely for your solicitude on account of me and mine. We all remain in the City, & through the protection of a kind providence enjoy health, the melancholy state of our City notwithstanding. Colonel John Moylan died this morning, and this moment I am informed Mr Fenno the Printer is taken ill, this will account for your receiving no Papers. his wife died on the 4th inst, and his press is silent.
My letter of the 3d ultimo informs you the Books are on their way to you, all but one, & that I have since obtained and will forward shortly. The drafts shall be honored.
I am Sir Your most Obt Servant,
Samuel Hodgdon
