I hope One thousand at least of those Articles will be made here, as I am well convinced they will be made as good, and as cheap as elsewhere. It will be a charity to employ our Mechanics the ensuing winter. The pattern Articles are preparing & will be sent to you shortly. I have several Accounts before me for the supply of Military implements and the repairs of Cannon Carriages amounting to upwards of Doll: 400, done under my own direction. will thank you to inform me how they are to be paid.
