Sir,
Inclosed you have the rate at which the enumerated Cavalry Equipments can be had in this City. I hope One thousand at least of those Articles will be made here: as I am well convinced they will be made as good, and as cheap as elsewhere. It will be a charity to employ our Mechanicks the ensuing winter. The pattern Articles are preparing & will be sent to you shortly. I have several Accounts before me for the supply of Military implements and the repairs of Cannon Carriages amounting to upwards of Doll: 400. done under my own direction. will thanks you to inform me how they are to be paid. A number of poor men are interested, and are pressing for payment;
