I have also received Muster & Pay Rolls of the Recruits under your Command for the month of August 1798. which has been examined & found correct. the amount thereof (being one hundred & forty three Dollars) you will receive in the usual manner from Nicholas Fish, Esq^r Supervisor at New York granting the necessary receipt, holding yourself accountable for the due application thereof. The amount of your Subsistence for said month, has been deducted untill the contract price of Rations can be obtained.
