I have received together with the two different statements of my Dept Quarases. it Appears to me By my examination respecting the Det Between you I see that I have either failed or mistaken some Vouchers in my favor or perhaps that they might be mislaid at your office. Such things, Sir, may happen, although I have not the first Doubt of your Accuracy and Strict Attention to your Business. you Will be so Good as to observe that I never have alledged two Differences But about the Conditional expences, and I had provided to be indebted to you of the Sum mentioned in your last; I have promised my Dept Recr & Depr I have pressed my self to find out my mistakes. as I have always kept Duplicate Receipts for Cash Disbursed for the public Affairs, it has Discovered me and to my Prov Attionhoneer & Officer Gane — however Sir I will look over again and with all possible Attention after which examination and found right as I here now will take measures to forward the Balance to you. —
Lord you Will find inclosed the Drafts Vouchers for April &Kg, But I 2.25 for the hundred and twenty Seven Dollars and half pointed to me By [undecipherable] Hall of Penigen — the three Receipts mentioned in your Returns are I presume, for the
last invoice at Public Stores forwarded to New York. —
