Sir,
I have received your letter of the 10th instant accompanied by the news papers.
Since last post day I have found it nece[ssary in] order to discharge the several claims against the [Quarter Master] Department to make several drafts on you,

Harrison A 2 M[r.] [at] Fort Washington previous to the arrival of the Quarter Master General at that post and which I am instructed by him to take up and draw upon you for. — The bills thus to be provided for amount to Seven thousand two hundred and seventy dollars.
You will find herewith enclosed a Report of Stores on hand at the Posts of Fort Franklin, LeBoeuf and Presque'isle on the 1st & 31st ultimo.
