To forward to Gen. Washington two set of Colours as soon as painted, to pack them up with great care. Mr John Bleakly has been kind enough to take charge of the Painting, I believe they are in the hands of the Painter near the Library.
To procure a vessel this morning to carry the Books & papers and young Gentlemen of my office and the Accountants to Trenton or Lamberton. I expect she will leave this to morrow.
To pay attention to the public Stores during the absence of the Office from the City, and keep me regularly advised of whatever it may be necessary for me to know.
