SIR,
IN pursuance of the authority of your letter of the 6th day of April 1798 I have drawn a duplicate sett of bills of exchange on you, No. 255 dated at Cincinnati the 23.d day of July 1798 at ten days sight, in favor of Smith & Findlay or order for the sum of Three Hundred dollars, on account of the pay of the army for 1798.
