Sir, I have received your letter of the 6^th Ins^t. — The drafts you mention shall meet due honor — I will purchase and forward for the use of the General, fifty Pounds of Spermaceti Candles agreeably to his request Signified through you — A supply of Stationary Shall go forward Shortly — I shall attend to the advance made Hamiltons Waggouns — I will thank you for an accurate statement of the Quantity of Whisky forwarded to Fort Washington subsequent to the 22^nd June 1796. — I also wish to receive your Quarterly Return due the 1^st instant — Congress breaks up on Monday next — I have paid off Bache and now send you the first edition of Fenn— [undecipherable] I am Sir Your most Obedient Servant Samuel Hodgdon Major Isaac Craig.
