I am informed that you know where Col. Hamtramick is stationed and that from your office you have frequent opportunities to forward Letters where he is. I take the liberty to inclose one for him and beg the favor of you to forward it to him by the first opportunity. I hold a note against him for 200 Drs with 12 years Interest and am told that he is very able to pay. Can you inform me how I could negociate this note? is the paymaster of his Regiment in Philadelphia now? or when is he? or how is the army paid? your answer will much oblige
