Ensign Hugh Mc Call Fort Wilkinson, Georgia Accountants Office July 10 1795 Sir I have to acknowledge the receiving your letter dated the 8 Ult^o with its accompaniments — The letter did not arrive in time to prepare the remittance for the pay of the discharged Soldiers — You may expect it by the next post, in the mean time, should those advantages which you mention be likely to take place in consequence of paying the discharged Soldiers before the money can arrive I conceive it would be proper to apply to that object a part of the Public monies in your hands for the pay of the Troops for the present year, particularly as the remittance will so soon be there to replace the amount. I shall then fully answer your letter as well as those previously received & suspended until the arrival of the vouchers which were withheld thro' mistake — The Muster & Pay rolls were forwarded some days ago — I encloses you a copy of my last letter, and am Sir & W.
