SIR,
IN pursuance of the authority of your letter of the 6th day of April — 1798 — I have drawn a duplicate sett of bills of exchange on you, No. 24V dated at Cincinnati the 5 day of July 1798 at ten days sight, in favor of C. Beatty or order for the sum of Five Hundred dollars, on account of the pay [of] the army for 1798.
