SIR,
In pursuance of the authority of your letter of the **6th** day of April 1798 I have drawn a duplicate sett of bills of exchange on you, No. 241 — dated at Cincinnati the 5. day of July 1798 at ten days sight, in favor of J. Clinton or order for the sum of Five hundred dollars, on account of the pay of the army for 1798.
