SIR,
IN pursuance of the authority of your letter of the 6th day of April 1798 — I have drawn a duplicate sett of bills of exchange on you, No. 237. — dated at Cincinnati the 3d day of July 1798 — at ten days sight, in favor of William Stott or order for the sum of Mc Thousand Eight Hundred dollars, on account of the pay of the army for 1798.
