Fort Oswego July 2^nd 1795 Sir Herewith enclose you the Muster and Pay Rolls of the Troops at this Garrison up to the first of this month. — As some of the men who have been discharged from this Garrison (By Payne, Hiot & [undecipherable] have settled in the vicinity, they have requested me to endeavour to have their pay forwarded to them. I have therefore included them in the Pay Roll. Should you find proper to forward it, I beg leave to mention that both Pafford and John Kelly, who were discharged in Dec^r of January last, and whose names you will see on my former Rolls, are in the same situation, they have requested me to ask for the same indulgence — As their names are not in the inclosed Muster, I could not make them up for pay in the Pay Roll. — I wrote to you on the 28 Ult^o and informed you that the money forwarded for the Troops at this place has not reached me. I still remain in the same situation. I shall wait with great anxiety to hear from you to where care it was sent. — On reverting to my last Letter, I must apologize for mentioning (as if I had taken it from your letter of the 31^st of May) that the pay had been forwarded up to the first of May, whereas your letter only mentions to the 1^st of March, being the period for which I had forwarded Rolls.
