Sir,
Your letter of the 22d accompanied by your account of advances to the families of the Ship Carpenters together with a packet of news papers. Since last post I have found it necessary to make the following drafts on you, viz, on the 27 in favor of Michael Jones at ten days sight for 850 dollars and this day in favor of Abner and Asa Barker at 8 days sight for 600 dollars and also in favor of Simon & Phillips at ten days for 450 dollars. These several drafts be pleased to [undecipherable] as usual. I wish you would send me Fenno's News papers instead of the Aurora. Pay Bache any account he may have against me for it. Sam.
