You will receive from Nicholas Fish [undecipherable] supervisor New York the sum of three hundred & fourteen Dollars & [undecipherable] for which you will be pleased to give him the necessary receipts for the same as follows Viz: — One hundred sixty two Dollars & [undecipherable] for your salary from 1 January to 31 March 93 inclusive & One hund fifty one dollars [undecipherable] for pay of the Detachment in the service of the Ordnance Department & under your orders from 1 February to 30 April holding yourself accountable for the due application of the latter sum —
I have caused the other Vouchers contained in your letter of the 31 Ulto to be suspended until the arrival of those promised in the said letter so as to include the whole in one settlement —
