Sir
As usual I enclose the Cash invoices of the Cherokee Annuities, now on the road to your address. I need not suggest to you the importance of their being forwarded to the person who is ultimately to receive, and make a division of the goods. You are fully apprised of this. I hope all will get safely to hand.

Sir—
The Sloop Eliza which leaves this City this evening for New York carries the Annuities for the Six Nations addressed to Melaneton Smith, who is to send them to your address with all possible dispatch. When you receive them, you will as formerly put them on Train to their final destination, and if necessary send some person with them to know that they are delivered entire and in a reasonable time— Let the enclosed Letter to Mrs Chapin go with the goods as it contains the Cash invoice, without which he will not be able to make a correct and equitable division. I send you also a Copy of the invoice, that in case of need you may know the contents of each package. I also enclose One hundred Dollars, sixteen of which is to repay your advances on the enclosed account, you will please to sign the receipt on the face of it and return it to me immediately. The remaining Eighty two Dollars is to assist you in getting forward the Indian Goods mentioned above. For any additional amount you may draw on me at sight— This Letter will reach you long enough before the Goods arrive to enable you to make any requisite arrangement to get them forward, when they get to hand and I request that you will so order matters as to prevent any detention.
