Philadelphia 4th June 1798.
Sir
Enclosed is an invoice of Felts offered for sale on terms that appear to be reasonable. We want for several Felts — and particularly for the one contemplated for the New Armoury. Mr Perkins says they are well adapted for that service — If you approve it will be well to direct the Purveyor to make the purchase immediately.
