We want for several Felts — and particularly for the one contemplated for the New Armoury. M^r Perkins says they are well adapted for that service — If you approve it will be well to direct the Purveyor to make the purchase immediately. The Vessel sails this evening and will probably be at York in four or five days from whence M^r Smith will forward the packages to you with all convenient dispatch — I wish you to inform me when they get to hand and whether they agree with the invoices.
