I herewith transmit to you receipts for payments made to my Company for the months of Januy Feby march & April 1798 I also inclose Receipt Rolls for payments made by Mr [undecipherable] during my absence, which were left among my papers.
In the payments made [to?] by him it is nessary to inform you that those men whose signatures are witnessed by David [undecipherable] have not received any part of the sum for which they receipted — I likewise inclose copies of sundry discharges. and
