to you the propriety of your checking Muster & Pay Rolls where men are included not authorized by law — I finds you have taken no notice of the surplus number of Serjeants & Corporals made up in Cap^t Porters Rolls — On examination of your accounts a question with me will arise whether you will be entitled to a credit for such payments — On looking over your accounts for compensation as P.M.G.
